HOT NEWS: For those of you who attended the first “Paws Around The Fountain Adopt-a-thon and Family Fun Day” hosted by ADOG, you will know what a successful event this was. Seventy pets were adopted from the event, over $2,500 was raised for the PACC911 Emergency Medical Fund and it was it was attended by a large crowd of people that were entertained by many different activities and events. ADOG received many requests from members, supporters and rescue groups to repeat the event and therefore we have scheduled the second “Paws Around the Park Adopt-a-thon” for Sunday 29th March, 2009 at the Fountain Park, Fountain Hills. The new 2009 board of directors has elected its officers for the upcoming year. The new ADOG President is Ms. Pat Pagliuco and the Vice President, Mr. Bruce Hansen. Please check out our 2009 Board web page to see the complete list of board members.

We are in need of volunteers to help with our PAWS Adopt-A-Thon event scheduled for Sunday March 29, 2009 at Fountain Park. Last year we were able to find homes for over 80 homeless pets and we hope to be even more successful this year. ADOG is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Fountain Hills Desert Vista off-leash dog park and responsible pet ownership. If you are a frequent visitor to the Desert Vista off-leash dog park, please consider becoming a member of ADOG. Your contribution will be sincerely appreciated by four-legged and two-legged park patrons as the donation will go towards enhancing the experience of using the off-leash dog park. The ADOG board of directors welcome volunteers that can join or assist the board in activities to enhance the park experience. If you would like to volunteer or support the board, please attend one of our monthly meetings or even consider joining the board. You can find more details in our Board of Directors section.

We recommend you visit this website frequently if you visit the off-leash dog park often. In our Current News and Upcoming Events section, we provide updates on the park including any closures, events and current news items.
